Logistics Park Loukov is located in Central Bohemia, a strategic position in central Europe. The area can be found in the eastern part of the village of Loukov, between motorway D10 and railway line number 070 Prague–Turnov, near Loukov railway station. The railway line is single-track and unelectrified outside the Prague railway junction. The average altitude of the area is 237 metres above sea level.
The area is accessible from road II/610 and local roads up to the fenced area. Currently non-functional rail siding connects Loukov station with the area. The area mainly consists of reinforced surfaces within the fenced space. An unnamed watercourse flows through the southwestern part of the area and another goes around the northern side, both eventually flowing into the Jizera River.
The logistics park is linked to a service road (DS) which at the railway crossing over track No. 070 connects to the local road; this leads to road II class - II/610 after approximately 65m.
Historically, a sugar factory was built in Dařenice, which was later converted into a textile factory producing cotton fabrics. During both World Wars, the factory was inactive. Before nationalisation, 140 people worked here. It later bore the name Pojizerské Cotton Works.
In 1951, the halls were adapted for the production of truck components under AZNP, later LIAZ. After 1989, several owners took turns here and today the area is owned by Logistics Park Loukov s.r.o. Many unsuitable buildings were demolished, including the factory chimney.
Currently, Logistics Park Loukov falls under the family company PERNER REAL ESTATE Ltd., which is part of PERNER Holding Ltd. Daniel Perner, the majority owner of the holding, also engages in milling and flour production in addition to logistics activities. He continues the family tradition and leverages his experience gained during his long stays at mills in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Germany. Daniel Perner graduated from the Secondary School of Food Technology in Pardubice. The family mill Perner in Svijany, established in 1420, which is also part of this holding, is now among the largest domestic flour producers and possesses the most advanced milling technology in the Czech Republic.
